Collaboration, Funding & Vacancies

Collaboration

We hold multiple collaborations spanning both industry and academia.

We are part of the Splice Select network is a BBSRC-funded network which aims to understand the molecular basis of regulating gene expression. More details can be found online.

As part of the University of Strathclyde/GSK collaborative programme, the Burley group offers PhD studentships that are based at the University of Strathclyde and funded by the University, the EPSRC & GSK. Students are co-supervised by chemistry academics and a senior chemist/biopharmaceutical scientist from GSK.  Students will have the unique opportunity to spend at least three months of the studentship at the GSK Medicines Research Centre in Stevenage, England. For more details on how to apply, please click here.
